Multiple recharge options The DJI Power 500 can be charged in four ways: AC power, USB-C, solar power, and car power. Whether you're indoors or on the go, you can flexibly choose the recharging method that works for you. Network power It’s quick and easy to plug in, recharge, and go. When plugged into a power outlet, the DJI Power 500 supports both 540W fast charging and 270W standard charging, with the fastest charging time being 70 minutes for a 100% battery. It can also be charged to 80% in just 50 minutes. [6] USB-C recharging The DJI Power 500 can be charged via two 100W USB-C ports, [2] for a total of 200W of input power, and can be fully charged in approximately three hours. [6] Solar energy The DJI Power 500 can be connected to solar panels via the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or the DJI Power Car Power Jack to SDC Power Cable, [10] and charged with environmentally friendly solar energy. MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is an intelligent algorithm that supports real-time monitoring of the voltage generated by connected solar panels. By tracking and maintaining the highest voltage and current (VI) values, the algorithm allows the solar panels to recharge the DJI Power 500 in an optimized and efficient manner. * DJI-certified solar panels from Zignes are recommended. The DJI Power 500 supports a maximum solar input of 300W and can be fully recharged by solar power in approx. 1.8 to 4 hours. [11] Vehicle power Easily recharge on any trip. With the DJI Power Car Cable to SDC Power Cable (12V/24V), you can recharge the DJI Power 500 via a car charger for a fully charged device in just six hours. Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) When the safety threshold for power usage is exceeded, the power and overcharging protection mechanism will be automatically activated. Once the power returns to normal, the DJI Power 500 will resume operation. LFP cell The LFP cell is safe and durable and can achieve 4,000 cycles, [5] providing a lifespan of approximately 10 years, even with frequent use. [12] Safe and reliable use of energy 11 temperature sensors The device's 11 temperature sensors continuously monitor heat dissipation, and the power plant can function normally even in temperatures as low as 40° C (104° F). [13] Power failure protection Ten fuses located throughout the power plant provide circuit protection for each module. Even if there is an abnormality in the circuit, the DJI Power 500 will respond quickly and safely. UPS mode, trouble-free power continuity If an electrical device is connected to a powered DJI Power 500 (via the AC output port) and both are receiving power from the mains, the DJI Power 500 defaults to UPS (uninterruptible power supply) mode. In the event of a sudden power outage, the DJI Power 500 can begin powering the connected device(s) within 0.02 seconds, [13] ensuring continuous operation. 25dB—Sleep undisturbed indoors or when camping The DJI Power 500's noise level is just 25 dB [14] while charging, lower than most household refrigerators, so there's no noise disturbance, even in quiet environments. It's also quieter than most electric fans and other everyday appliances. Outputs for multiple scenarios Advanced ports, advanced applications Two 100W USB-C ports, super fast charging The dual 100W USB-C bidirectional ports support power input and output, [2] and both modes support the PD 3.0 fast charging protocol, allowing for efficient output and input. The two ports can be used simultaneously to recharge the DJI Power 500 with a maximum of 200W, or to power devices such as cameras, phones, and laptops with up to 200W.
