1961 Martin 0-18 Acoustic Guitar – Used

One of the cleanest Martin 0-18 models we’ve had in a long while. Original throughout, including the Grover Sta-Tite tuners, nut, Brazilian rosewood bridge, and pickguard. It’s had a proper neck reset, and the pickguard was removed and reglued to relieve pickguard shrinkage stress to the top. There are four lines in the bass side of the top that look like tight hairlines but they waver away from the spruce grain and there’s no sign of them on the underside, and they don’t flex, so they have all the signs of lacquer crazing lines like the ones that curl off at an angle near the bottom of the pickguard. All internal brazing is original, including the bridge plate. About the only scratches are to the edge of the bass side of the headstock (from sloppy use of a peg winder). An impressive example of a Martin from the old North Street factory before all the mid-’60s changes began. Reviews There are no reviews yet.
